You will be responsible for reports, vendor exports, data warehousing tasks, and other data related tasks within the Ledcor Technical Services Team. Responsibilities * Communicate requirements and business rules with business users and transform them into technical specifications * Create complex analytic queries on large data sets, Design reports and dashboards * Develop vendor and client exports that meet specifications, Provide business users the data required for metrics and analysis * Develop and maintain data warehouse and associated ETL processes * Perform testing on packages, reports and exports to ensure exceptional quality * Monitor jobs and transfer queues to ensure they are functioning as expected * Manage change requests * Create and maintain documentation for all projects * Research and develop new ways to improve existing functionality, proactively analyze and bring forth ideas for continuous improvement Requirements * 2+ years of similar IT-related experience in a large-scale production environment; previous experience in the telecom industry would be an asset * Diploma or degree in Computer Science or related experience * MCTS or MCITP in SQL server 2008R2 + would be an asset * Excellent skills in T-SQL Development of queries, views, stored procedures etc. (MS SQL Server 2008R2 or +) required * Hands-on experience with relational and dimensional databases design and administration required * MS Reporting Services (SSRS) experience, including development of complex reports, required * Experience utilizing MS Integration Services (SSIS), including development of full DW ETL Solutions, required * MS Analysis Services (SSAS) experience, for complex cube reporting solutions, desired * Excellent skills in Data Integration and Data transformations required * Related skills in BI tools such as Power BI, basic .NET (VB.Net or C#) would be an advantage * Excellent communication skills * Ability to coordinate multiple requests and prioritize accordingly Work Conditions * Office-based position Ledcor Technical Services (LTS) designs, builds, and maintains wireline or wireless networks that span North America and beyond.
