POSITION OVERVIEW: Responsible of supporting maintenance and repair Supervisor. Responsible for making sure site location has parts available to fix/repair chassis, gensets and refrigeration units to meet operation requirements following state and federal laws and regulations. Make sure that damaged equipment and other reports updated on a weekly basis.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Meeting the weekly M&R KPIs
Chassis PMs
Genset PMs
Ensure all work orders are entered in JDE and MCS required to reflect the actual repairs/PMs done weekly
Checking PMs in and out of the shop
Making sure parts/materials are ordered through MCS
Receiving and managing parts/materials into MCS as soon as they are delivered as to ensure inventory is up-to-date
Dispatches parts/inventory
Evaluate equipment to be sent to third party vendors
Validating third party invoices
Follow up with invoicing to ensure all vendors are receiving payment
Finding and preparing equipment for off hire
Validating over the road repairs when equipment is returned
Produce a weekly out of service report
Provide mechanics with supplies to ensure proper repairs
Follow all maintenance SOP’s
Special projects and miscellaneous assignments as necessary or required by NA M&R Manager
Perform other duties as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma required
Mechanical background or experience a plus
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
Strong computer skills
Knowledge of JDE a plus
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and high attention to detail
Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to read, speak, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
Must wear approved safety shoes
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT:
General office, shop, and warehouse
Incumbent may use calculators, computers, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of normal workday
Must be able to lift 50 pounds easily throughout shift
Must be able to twist/turn, reach over shoulders and stand/walk on a continual basis
Must be able to work shifts as assigned such as weekends, holidays and mandatory overtime
Stooping, squatting, walking, reaching, bending, twisting, lifting and reaching may be required in completion of job duties
Use repetitive motions using upper and lower extremities, mount and dismount equipment
