Production Data Technician Job - Date: Aug 6, 2018 Location: Carlsbad, NM, US, 88220 Essential Functions May Be Responsible For, But Not Limited To: - Daily production allocation review - Assist field operators with daily data entry processes/corrections - Data quality maintenance and troubleshooting - Run ticket review (error checking) - Oil/water run ticket sorting/filing - Cooperate with Permian Asset personnel to complete projects and tasks - Cultivate contacts across assets to bolster productivity and encourage team solutions - Production numbers report to JACAM (weekly) - Provide run tickets copies to Houston (weekly) - Oil production and sales reconciliation with monthly reporting/marketing/purchasers - MOC SWD reconciliation - SWD volumes report to Land Department - Verify well tests - Rerun production allocations as needed - New Hire training for production reporting processes as needed Prerequisites: Education & Experience - High school diploma or equivalent required - Minimum 3+ years of oil and gas experience preferred Program Proficiencies - Merrick Systems ProCount - Merrick Systems eVIN (Field Operator and Foreman versions) - TIBCO Spotfire - SAP - MS Office - SQL programming experience a plus - Oracle experience a plus Marathon Oil Corporation (NYSE: MRO) is an independent oil and natural gas exploration and production company based in Houston, Texas.
