Job Description

We are currently looking for a PROPERTY MANAGER to lead, coach, mentor and train site staff. Someone ready to be a subject matter expert on file compliance, property budgets and expenses, re-certifications, and general operations of a multi unit building. You will work with Property Leadership to review and ensure the property is operating effectively and efficiently. You will communicate and provide direction to residents, vendors, and community partners. #MakeaDifference

HOW WE SUPPORT OF #MERCYSTRONG TEAM

• Developed and implemented safety processes for all worksites and provided protective equipment for all staff, to ensure that onsite staff is safe and is secure performing essential work.
• Limited number of staff onsite at properties to enable everyone to safely distance while completing critical tasks.
• Expanded our early Friday hours to allow staff to be with family and friends during this challenging time.
• Provided onsite employees with quarterly bonus pay to help them and their families during this time.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: 

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Professional certification in property or affordable housing management preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 2 years of administrative, accounting, customer service, and/or supervisory experience preferred.
• Previous housing or property management experience including HUD, Low Income Tax Credits, Rural Housing, and Tax-Exempt Bond properties preferred.
• Working knowledge of applicable local and federal housing laws, including Fair Housing and Landlord and Tenant laws.
• Experience being accountable for financials.
