    MISSION:

     

    Participate in the coordination and execution of all aspects of the Special Event Ticketing Program. This includes preparation of sales materials, supervision of contractor employees engaged in manual ticket sales activities at MetroLink stations and reconciliation of sales revenues / fares media in the field and controlled office environment.

     

     

     

    ESSENTIAL OUTCOMES:

     

    • Initiate production of fare media for specific events and maintain the inventory of both printed materials and blank ticket stock utilized for the special Event Ticketing program.
    • Determine staff requirements for Special Events and develops work schedules ensuring efficient utilization of available resources.
    • Prepare agent sales kits for each scheduled event including applicable reconciliation materials.
    • Independently supervises vendor employees engaged in manual ticket sales ensuring appropriate allocation of resources to facilitate customer satisfaction.
    • Utilize computerized spreadsheet to reconcile post event ticket sales.
    • Review and compile information relative to ticket agent schedules and actual hours worked.
    • Review and reconcile contractor invoices / resolve discrepancies and ensure vendor and Agency adherence to defined controls.
    • Maintain detailed spreadsheets reflecting sales activity by specific event type.
    • Maintain working fund inventory of monies utilized for providing customers with change during the ticket purchase process. This includes production of “bank kits” for each ticket agent deployed and post event reconciliation of these monies.
    • Receive and processes customer claims, refunds and credit/debit transaction chargeback requests.
    • Replenishes coin storage units as necessary and participates in the testing of revenue collection equipment hardware components.

    • Ability to account for and reconcile ticket sale revenues and effectively manage fare media inventories.
    • Ability to work with and develop computerized spreadsheets.
    • Ability to establish work priorities and allocate workloads efficiently.
    • Ability to train, supervise, and evaluate employees and contractor staff on effective customer service policies.
    • Must be able to work under pressure and be capable of initiating immediate field adjustments designed to support Agency and Departmental missions.
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
    • Ability to interact effectively with Agency management officials, staff, contract personnel and members of if the general public.

    Required Experience

    EDUCATION

     

    • DEGREE: High school diploma or equivalent required.  Associates Degree Preferred.  
    • FIELD:  Accounting/Mathematics

     

     

    EXPERIENCE:

     

    • YEARS: Three (3) to Five (5) minimum.
