Responsibilities:
Assess Performance: Evaluate the effectiveness of missiles, aircraft, and sensor systems, identifying areas for improvement.
Leverage MS &A: Utilize modeling and simulation techniques to analyze combat capabilities across systems and systems-of-systems.
Warfighter Interaction: Strengthen air-to-air combat expertise through direct engagement with warfighters.
System Requirements: Understand current and future system requirements by collaborating with warfighters.
Study Planning: Work with stakeholders and subject matter experts to define study questions and develop comprehensive plans.
Performance Metrics: Define measures of performance and effectiveness to guide study objectives.
Technical Studies: Lead quantitative and qualitative studies, analyze results, and brief senior leadership.
Decision Support: Assist stakeholders in interpreting study findings for ongoing projects and initiatives.

MS &A Knowledge: Familiarity with modeling and simulation methodologies (e.g., TMAP, AFSIM, ITASE, Brawler, Suppressor).
Military Systems: Understand modern military systems, both domestic and foreign.
Specialized Interests: Experience or interest in areas such as IR/RF engineering (sensor design, signal processing, signature and detection), aerospace engineering, software/tool development, data science methodologies (artificial intelligence, machine learning, data post-processing, data visualization, optimization), and/or network theory (game theory, graph theory, statistical inference).
