Product Management Intern Monoprice Inc. 4 reviews - Brea, CA Internship Monoprice Interns will work closely with the Product Management team to gain valuable insight into the position while working side by side with our managers who live and breathe their products. Product Managers are responsible for all aspects of the product lines they manage. Product Managers identify the categories to grow in, create products our customers will want, launch them into the world at the right time and manage their performance for the whole product life-cycle through pricing, promotions and marketing. Essential Functions & Responsibilities Conduct market research to gain perspective on how to succeed as a business within specific markets. Utilize technology and market trends to determine areas of opportunity to dominate within current product categories and launch Monoprice into new lines of products. Work with product management team to ensure our customers receive the experiences we would want if we were them. Develop product offerings to support key sales channels, including geographies, retail, distribution, education, enterprise, as well as direct to our end users. Work with team to assess online and retail environments to ensure superior quality, compelling content and competitive merchandising/promotions in line with Monoprice values. Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to generate new and effective promotions. Provide unique selling points and other product collateral to support content creation and marketing. Collaborate with Internal and Factory Design Teams to modify products and packaging as needed. Continually assess Monoprice website for accuracy, and recommend improvements. Other duties may be assigned to accomplish company or department objectives Will have the opportunity to participate in a hands on development project.
