Position Summary The Recruiting and Intern Coordinator provides administrative and project support to the intern program team, as well as provide back-up support to the HR team. The Recruiting & Intern Coordinator is based in the New York City office and reports to the Manager, Human Resources. Essential Functions Recruiting/Staff Engagement Provide support to the Manager, for all aspects of the National Audubon Society intern and fellow programs including: talent acquisition, coordination of job postings, scheduling interviews and follow-up and build partnerships with hiring managers Lead the continued development and implementation of the internship/fellowship program Process new hires for onboarding; collect on-boarding forms from new hires and process Maintain all intern and fellow files and job descriptions for the organization Assist the Manager with Recruiting metrics; create spreadsheets to track the ROI for the programs Develop and revise internship policies and procedures Create and lead programming for the internship and fellowship programs Work with the Director on Staff Engagement initiatives as needed (employee surveys, and responses and coordination of action items) Qualifications and Experience Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience Minimum 3 years administrative support experience; experience in a human resources department preferred; minimum one year leading an intern or fellows program is ideal Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and maintain confidentiality Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) Superior time management skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines Detail-oriented with strong organizational and proofreading skills
