    Job Description

    To ensure a secure operating environment by monitoring user access and adherence to established policies and procedures. Day-to-day operational support for both IT Helpdesk and IT systems administration, including Windows Server, VMware, NetApp SAN, VOIP, software support, etc. Adept at learning new skills, works well on a team, and takes pride in getting things done quickly and efficiently while working in a fast paced work environment.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

     

    • Microsoft Windows Server operating system support
    • Active Directory and Group policy management and support
    • Exchange 2016/Office 365 management and support
    • Administration of a VMware 6.7 environment
    • Antivirus and Windows patch management
    • Installation and maintenance of Windows-based systems
    • Responsible for the administration of a Cisco UC 10.x phone system
    • Ability to learn new systems and applications as necessary
    • Manage domain, user/computer objects, accounts, and permissions
    • Assist in installation and configuration printers, peripherals, servers, and other network related hardware
    • Support, monitor, test and troubleshoot hardware, operating system, and software problems
    • Provide 1st through 3rd level support
    • Provide backup support for other team members if unavailable
    • Participate in the team’s on call rotation
    • Perform other tasks as required

    QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: Bachelor in CS, EE, or technical degree preferred

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

    • 5 years’ experience in a windows environment and have a good understanding of network infrastructure
    • Understanding of Cisco UCS or similar cloud phone system environment preferred
    • MCSE/MCSA/VMware/ITIL certifications preferred
    • NetApp SAN administration experience a plus

     

    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

     

    Experience in conversion and implementation of companywide software applications

     

    SKILLS/ABILITIES:

    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of experience and training
    • Windows Server and Desktop products, Office 365, VMware, NetApp SAN, Disaster Recovery, Phone System administration.

     

     

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    TRAVEL: 5% or less

    SPEAKING: Able to speak and present information in front of groups

    PHYSICAL: Sit up to eight hours per day, must be able to life 25-50 lbs regularly. Noise level is generally low to moderate
