    Job Description

    Working with a team of SW Engineers, the Junior Software Engineer is responsible for design, implementation and test of software products as assigned by the management.

     

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

    • Follow the Agile software development model working with the development team and SCRUM Master to accomplish assigned task.
    • Junior Software Engineer will work in C, C++, Java, Go and other languages as assigned by Management.
    • Accountable for delivery of assigned task on time, compliant with development process.
    • Contributes to the development and achievement of organizational goals and objectives.
    • Junior Software Engineer will write design specification, source code and unit test plans as required
    • Analyze and code complex modules, define data structures, and specify test tools.
    • Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes.
    • Other duties as assigned

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

    Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience required.

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

    • Knowledge of appropriate development languages
    • General knowledge and application of engineering concepts
    • Knowledge of job associated database/software/documentation.

    EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

    • 2 years of software development experience.

    SKILLS/ABILITIES:

    • Problem solving skills.
    • Communication skills.
    • Analytical ability.
    • Ability to multi-task.
    • Ability to work in a team environment.
    • Understanding of business environment.

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    PHYSICAL: Ability to sit or remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time. Repetitive use of arms/hands/fingers for computer work such as typing and writing. Ability to carry and move up to 5 to 10 pounds of electronic equipment (i.e., mobile computer units and medical device products).
