Assist the pharmacist in the distribution of medication for pharmacy. Responsibilities include chemotherapeutic medication preparation, delivery, procurement of chemotherapy medications, inventory control, and HMOC record keeping.

Required Experience

Work Experience

• Two years hospital work experience as a Pharmacy Technician required.
• Two years' work experience at a Children’s Hospital preferred.
• Previous work experience with chemotherapeutic preparation preferred.

License/Registration/Certification:

• Current registration for Pharmacy Technician with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
• Current registration with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board
• National I.V. Certification required.

Education and Training:

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Graduation from a Pharmacy Technician program preferred.
