    We are actively seeking a results-driven sales leader to join our team as VP of Sales Operations. Reporting to the CEO, you will be instrumental in NAR’s business development, sales, and marketing strategies.

    Job Duties

    • Will develop the sales strategy and then drive and execute the sales strategy and processes that will significantly increase new prospects and pipeline management, achieving revenue forecasts and meeting sales objectives.

    • Indirect leadership for the Sales, and Business Development functions

    • Develop, and implement a sales operational strategy that enables the sales operation team to meet and exceed sales targets.

    • Mentor, and inspire a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

    • Support and enhance an inside sales team and the pipeline development/lead generation.

    • Support the account management team with routine customer performance review meetings.

    • Oversee customer acquisition strategies to expand customer base.

    • Develop and manage sales forecasts and budgets. Provide regular reports to executive leadership on sales performance and achievements.

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of sales strategies with productions, service, and customer experience.

    • Coordinate with Finance and other departments to develop meaningful reporting, metrics and analyses that deliver key insight into account development. Implement, document, and enforce processes, infrastructure and tools that enable growth and clear visibility into Sales performance.

    • Utilize data analytics to gain insights into market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscapes.

    • Partner with VP of Operations to grow client base through excellence in field experience.

    • Successfully negotiate and close complex deals with appropriate targets.

    • Lead growth and new business excellence in technically knowledgeable, strategic-thinking talent to enable growth of the business by providing transformational sales and solution adoption through excellent customer care.

    • People leadership: attract, develop, and retain top talent in the organization. An ability to create loyalty, trust, and a following.

    • Develop comprehensive pricing strategies for one stop customer solutions for reroofing and service needs.

    • Review market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential and discount rates.

    • Build senior client relationships with decision makers at target accounts.

    • Maintain and constantly evaluate accounts and lead assignments, sales goals and compensation plans to ensure team is aligned with company objectives.

    • Other related duties

    Skills and Qualifications

    • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience leading national sales operations and account management teams, which includes sales strategy planning and execution, sales operations, business planning, and sales support management.

    • Experience in the construction, roofing, or building envelope industries, preferred.

    • Bachelor’s degree in business and/or relevant or equivalent years of experience.

    • Experienced in department collaboration, partnerships, and team development.

    • Proven track record in hiring, managing, coaching and developing a geographically dispersed team.

    • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.

    • Ability to successfully interact with senior level executives and board members.

    • Strong analytical and negotiating skills and ability to use data to drive decision-making.

    Working Conditions

    • Work is performed in a hybrid, general office environment.

    • Repetitive bending and stooping with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds is required. Must be able to climb a ladder(s) to rooftops and traverse different roofing materials to examine customer roofs.

    • Repetitive finger/hand/forearm motion necessary for completing data entry. Ability to manipulate keyboards, telephone keypads, and other office equipment is essential.

    • Talking and listening required for answering telephones and conversing personally with customers and staff. Manual dexterity required.

    • Travel may be up to 50% depending on RSM and customer needs/visits to sites by various modes of transportation such as car or plane.

    • Multiple consecutive hours working on a computer and viewing data on a computer screen.
