  • Responsibilities

    Seeking Counselor to work at Camp Pontiac, a premier co-ed overnight camp in the NY Berkshires, teaching tennis during activity daytime periods and spend time with campers and staff when not at activities. Approximately two hours from both NYC and Boston; approximately 570 boys and girls ranging in age from 7 to 16 from mid-June through mid-August. Responsibilities and requirements include: //Coordinate and facilitate tennis program for the camp //Work with experienced NY State Hall of Fame Basketball Program Head and other counselors. //Live and work at camp

  • Qualifications

    Camp Pontiac is interested in speaking with those candidates who have attended at least one year of college. We hire candidates who played on a varsity high school team and/or college varsity, junior varsity or club team. Child care experience and/or college majors including elementary ed, secondary ed, special ed or physical ed is a plus.

    College basketball player at the varsity, junior varsity or club level who loves to work with children

  • Compensation
    $2300 - $3000 depending upon age and experience

    Up to $250 travel. Daily meals and overnight lodging included.
