• Atlanta, GA 30319 Peachtree Road Lutheran Preschool Now Hiring Qualified Preschool Teachers Peachtree Road Lutheran Preschool, a non-profit accredited preschool in Buckhead, is currently hiring qualified teachers for our full-time preschool programs. History & Mission Peachtree Road Lutheran Preschool (PRLP) was established in 1984 as an outreach ministry of Peachtree Road Evangelical Lutheran Church. The extended-day program began with the renovation of the educational building in September 1989. The church is pleased to offer this service to the community as an outreach sharing God's love for all mankind in Jesus Christ. Curriculum PRLP uses a child-centered curriculum designed to meet students at their level and propel them to meet higher educational goals. Our lessons are all extendable depending on how ready the child is to learn more complex concepts. Every child is unique and learns differently which is why we use a variety of learning resources to facilitate learning. We have large group, small group and individual instruction time in every classroom. We utilize centers (Math/Science, Language, Sand & Water, Blocks, Dramatic Play, Art) to enrich our learning experiences. We also have monthly in-house field trips to further our learning. Throughout the day, every moment is used as a teachable moment. Children at PRLP are always encouraged to gain self-help skills, make appropriate choices, experiment, explore and most importantly, have fun while learning. Applicant Qualifications * Applicants preferred to have a bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or another closely related field. Minimum of an Early Childhood Education Associates degree, CDA or TCC required.

• Working knowledge of Bright From the Start and NAEYC rules and regulations. * Must have 1-2 years experience working with children in a licensed group setting. * Must have strong support and organizational skills. * Must be able to commit to a full time 40 hour a week schedule.
