    Field Operations Technician I Job Description Field Operations Technician I Job Summary: Responsible for field administrative functions in their location, including but not limited to invoicing, oil & gas activity reporting, and assisting on special projects. May specialize in one of the following functional areas: * Operations Supportresponsible for supporting the various Operations functions, such as Automation and Measurement, through database management, tracking and reporting of various field activity * Maintenance, Automation and Measurementresponsible for scheduling and coordinating preventative maintenance, managing databases of equipment, inventory and services performed * Workoverresponsible for assisting with workover rig operations, monitoring reports, well status information and AFE updates and maintenance * Drilling/Completions-- responsible for assisting with drilling and completions rig operations, monitoring reports, job status information and AFE updates and maintenance * Operations/Productionresponsible for the management and tracking of well operations data, LOE processing and production reporting * Operations Enginering-responsible for collection and supply of well and expense data related to engineering operations. Job Description: * Provides administrative office support to management (Foremen, Superintendents, Operations Support and others) such as answering phones, opening mail, making copies, purchasing supplies, or maintaining schedules, * Learns to code, process, track and monitor production data, data for landowner payments, work orders, job tickets and invoices, working closely with supervisors to ensure information is processed correctly and invoices are charged to proper G&A/LOE (General & Administrative/Lease Operating Expenses) and AFE (Authority for Expenditures) accounts; enters data into appropriate software. * Learns to compile and process various internal and external oil and gas activity data and reports related to production, route optimization, drilling, completions, safety, environmental, laboratory analysis, or other within various databases including SiteView, WellView, TOW, Telogis, eVIN, INFOR, XSPOC and others. * Learns to process and submit expense reports for management. * Provides technical assistance to field employees as needed. * May act as dispatch or front reception as needed. * May order and coordinate new and existing lease signage. * Learns to create and maintain well files on-site. * May manage fleet vehicle information specific to department worked in; may order vehicles and equipment as necessary and track related required documentation (e.g., registration, mileage reports, fuel cards, insurance cards). * May assist in the collection and tracking of proactive safety measures and data, particularly related to R2LB (Rules to Live By). * Assists with set up of new employees, contractors and vendors. * Travels to field locations to provide assistance to field contractors, as needed. * Serves on or may scribe for various committees as needed. * May coordinate meetings to include sending invites, arranging venues, and preparing materials. * Attends and completes all required training courses. * Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor. * Performs other/additional duties as assigned by manager. * Internal applicants should meet all eligibility requirements per employee handbook. Qualifications: * High School Diploma or equivalent required. * Basic knowledge of oil and gas operations and terminology preferred. * Minimum 1 year administrative experience required. * Some oil and gas administrative and accounting experience preferred * Intermediate computer skills with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint. * Experience with oil and gas related systems and programs (e.g., WellView, SiteView, INFOR) preferred. * Strong 10-key and/or data entry skills. * Works in normal office environment. * 90% of work performed at a computer terminal. * Some bending and standing, occasional lifting. * Strong attention to detail.
