Our f irst commercial product harnesses the power of naturally-occurring microbes to provide nutrients to crops. We are dedicated to providing new sustainable ways for farmers to improve yield as they work to help feed the worlds growing population. We are rapidly expanding our field technology team to improve our ability to measure and predict the sustainability and impact of our product candidates. The Prototype Engineer will be a key member of the team as they provide the tools and setups for gathering precision plant data in the greenhouse and field. This role will help us develop, deploy, and use cutting-edge measurement technology at our product test sites, bridging the gap between research and product development. Responsibilities: Design and build custom lab setups to test new sensor technology. Package sensor and measurement technology for field use. Own successful deployment of technologies to the field. Approximately 10% travel to field locations. Required Skills and Expertise: B.S. in engineering, 3+ years of experience in building prototypes and products for robotics, manufacturing, or laboratory instrumentation. Experience with IoT hardware, RaspberryPi, Arduino, etc. Proficiency with Python or C++. Scrappy, creative, and adventurous in seeking solutions to problems. Hackers wanted. Preferred Skills: Experience with hardware prototyping and CAD.
