    JOB SUMMARY

    PART TIME MONDAY-FRIDAY 10AM-2PM 

    The primary duty of this position is the breaking down and preparation of all incoming repair, return, & outsource shipments to attain an optimized and streamlined process of receiving.  This duty will be carried out by way of the following:

     

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Assist in opening and landing each day’s incoming shipments received from UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL, Truck, or other delivery
    • Fill out excel spread sheet with document number, tracking number, & customer information
    • Review notes on all RGA/RMA’s to determine any special instructions for Breakdown or Receiving staff

      Duties may be modified from time to time. Additional duties may also be assigned.

     

    MEASUREMENTS/METRICS

    • Land and break down the entire shipment for the day
    • 40 boxes per 8 hour shift / 20 boxes per 4 hour shift & / or completion of the entire delivery. Whichever is satisfied first.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Strong technical skills

    • Problem solving abilities
    • Good communication skills, verbal and written

     

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 

    ·         High School Diploma or equivalent required, technical school or equivalent preferred

     

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    • Reaching/lifting, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling

    • Frequent walking, hand truck and/or pallet jack use

    • Continuous standing and repetitive hand motion

    • Constant moving of pallets and/or bins

    • Lifting requirements include frequent lifting of up to 100 pounds and continuous lifting of up

    to 10 pounds

     

    EMPLOYEE EVALUATION SUMMARY

    • Introductory Review -- Will be written at approximately 80 days after employment and will be used to determine whether employment will continue
    • Monthly reviews – Employee will be given a brief written monthly review primarily focused on quantitative performance and measurement of activity.
    • Annual Reviews – Monthly reviews will factor in as a big part of this process along with attendance, job knowledge, overall performance and dependability.

     

    WORK SCHEDULE

    This is an hourly position.  Part-time employees are required to work their assigned shift of 10am to 2pm.

    Employee is expected to come to work on time and adhere to accepted time-off policies. 

     

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    The environment is a plant and inventory setting.  Dress attire is casual but professional in a plant and inventory setting.  All employees are required to wear “Radwear” (apparel with company logo) at all times once the initial supply (at company expense) has been received. Closed-toe hard-soled shoes must be worn.  Safety shoes are recommended. Company provided hard hats must be worn in certain areas.  Radwell ID Badge and Access card must be worn at all times.   Employees must adhere to all Radwell Safety Requirements at all times (see safety manual posted online).
