About the Role
In this role, you’ll take the lead in designing innovative products that align with customer needs and engineering standards. From concept to production-ready drawings, your work will drive product development and support manufacturing success.
What You’ll Do
- Create and refine detailed product designs using Creo Parametric (Pro/E) MCAD software
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet design and functionality goals
- Support prototyping and continuous improvement of product concepts
- Prepare technical drawings and documentation per internal design processes
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, specifications, and manufacturability best practices
- Contribute to problem-solving discussions, tolerance stack-up analysis, and DFM efforts
- Assist with CAD visualization, blueprint reading, and Windchill PDM workflows (a plus)
What You Bring
- Strong proficiency with Creo Parametric / Pro-E MCAD software
- Solid understanding of design for manufacturability (DFM), blueprint reading, and mechanical tolerancing
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred—or equivalent industry experience in mechanical or sheet metal product design
- Effective communicator (written and verbal) in English with cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented with a passion for functional design and product aesthetics
- Experience with hard goods engineering and sheet metal design is a plus
- Familiarity with Windchill PDM and Microsoft Office Suite
