    The FP&A Reporting Manager is a high visibility role that demonstrates accountability for functional and business objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes to meet business needs, manage complex issues within functional areas, drive long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy with reliable financial analysis. It is an ideal development role to make the move into a more strategic and business-oriented role with international and corporate exposure in a fast moving and developing organization.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Corporate and Business Reporting and Planning – Support the budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, reporting and quarterly pacing process – linking the Electric Thermal Business units into the Spirax Corporate processes. Establishes best practices in forecasting and budgeting including timelines, templates, and consolidation processes. Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting that aligns with business objectives and strategy. Assists in the month and quarter end preparation of financial statements. Ensures completeness and accuracy of the company’s corporate reporting activities of actuals.
    • Business Review process – Analyze historical and future financial results to provide guidance to organization regarding performance, accuracy, and completeness of consolidated results.
    • Reporting Systems - Manage the continued development of budgeting, forecasting, and modeling tools – Power BI, Cognos, IBM TM1 and Excel. Support organization in developing processes and best practices to utilizing financial systems. Manages reporting templates and mapping to TM1 system.
    • KPI development - Evolve and refine the business metrics and reporting providing insightful information to leadership and design dashboards to provide transparency on important KPIs.
    • Ad-hoc and Project Analysis - Perform value added ad-hoc analyses that help drive decision making

    Required Skills

    • Able to anticipate, identify, and resolve complex financial issues
    • Be self-motivated, driven, flexible and adaptable to complete assigned tasks; results driven
    • Ability to demonstrate sound judgment, including maintaining highly confidential information
    • Interaction with overseas corporate parent and IFRS reporting experience
    • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
    • Proficient in excel and financial reporting systems
    • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
    • Ability to step back and analyze the overall business impact
    • Highly organized and detail oriented

    Required Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
    • MBA or CPA preferred
    • 5-7 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting
    • Engineering and/or Business to Business industries
