    The Role:

    Reporting to our Regional Sales Director, the Area Sales Manager (ASM) will increase revenue and profit margin in the assigned geographic area for all Chromalox, Inc. products and services within the industrial markets by growing the existing customer base and developing new accounts.

    The assigned geographic area will consist of multiple Chromalox territories where the Area Sales Manager will develop and grow sales through distribution, end users, engineering firms, and OEM channels.

    Additionally, the Area Sales Manager will serve as an account manager for key accounts, lead the rep and direct sales force in their area, conduct periodic sales meetings, and host technical training seminars for employees and customers.

    Responsibilities:

    • Support, manage, and coach sales representatives to surpass our goals and objectives for optimal sales growth.

    • Expand our geographic areas for growth plans to increase market share and revenue, consistent with corporate growth strategies.

    • Evolve key customer accounts, distribution, and value-added integrator programs for the assigned area.

    • Prepare annual sales forecasts and manage area budget.

    • Conduct periodic sales meetings to review performance and set goals.

    • Manage the prospect and development targets within the assigned markets.

    • Facilitate deliveries on time with the Chromalox Supply Co’s.

    • Capability to persuade and, most importantly, move orders across the finish line to close deals.

    • Solve complex and technical heat transfer applications and develop sound, cost-effective solutions.

    • Develop detailed proposals addressing the critical needs of customers.

    Required Skills

    Required Experience

    • At least 5+ years of sales experience and a proven track record of closing deals are required.

    • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required; an Engineering degree is preferred.

    • At least 2+ years of management experience is required.

    • Passionate, able to lead with a growth mindset and motivate those around them.

    • Proven experience with verbal communication, written, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to articulate ideas and concepts in front of customers or potential customers.

    • Must be self-motivated and self-disciplined with solid time management skills.

    • We have proven working experience with skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

    • Capability and willingness to travel primarily throughout the area of responsibility are required.

  • Qualifications

     

    • Ensures that production goals are met.
    • Troubleshoots problems to maintain quality standards and to keep binding line equipment in running  condition - request maintenance as required.
    • Examines product frequently to ensure that it meets customer quality specifications.
    • Pulls and inspects hourly run samples and notifies the Bindery Leader in the event quality standards are not being met.
    • Cleans, lubricates and maintains assigned machine to ensure its optimum operation.
    • May run the binding line in absence of the Bindery Leader.
    • May coordinate the assignment of crew members.
    • May provide training for new team members.
    • Adheres to and promotes all safety policies and procedures including, but not limited to the proper handling of hazardous waste, lock out - tag out rules and hearing and eye protection policies.
    • Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
    • It is the responsibility of all Solution Delivery employees to follow the requirements of their documented process as defined in the ISO Quality Manual.
    • Previous experience in the operation of a binder machine or work in a printing environment
    • Must be able to operator computers efficiently
    • Prior experience as a Folding Operator a must

     

    -Must be able to work in a team environment

    -This position works 3 - 4 / 12-hour work days a week.  Must be willing to work overtime and weekends.
