  • Responsibilities

    OBJETIVO:

    Realizar las funciones operativas del almacén, aplicando los Procedimientos establecidos en el área de Inventarios.

     

    ACTIVIDADES Y RESPONSABILIDADES:

    • Realizar actividades de Carga, Descarga, Estiba, Desestiba, Empaque, Desempaque, Embarque, Desembarque, Acomodo, Identificación, Clasificación y Protección de Materiales.
    • Identificar los Materiales que se reciben de acuerdo a Procedimiento
    • Acomodo de materiales en sus ubicaciones correspondientes y de acuerdo a lo establecido en el Procedimiento
    • Acomodo de material en Cajas para su almacenamiento
    • Reacomodo de Material basado en la Rotación que presentan, de acuerdo a lo establecido en el Procedimiento
    • Cambios de Mercancía y Cambios de Producción actualizando la Ubicación y Re-etiquetando el material de acuerdo a lo establecido en el Procedimiento
    • Preparar materiales para surtir requerimientos de los clientes así como traspasos de materiales a otros almacenes de la empresa. Según Procedimiento
    • Participar en los Conteos Físicos de materiales en Inventarios cíclicos, Inventario de muestreo o Inventario General.
    • Conocer y apegarse a los procedimientos del área registrados en el SGC.
    • Cualquier otra actividad que se requiera y vaya en función de su puesto o departamento.

    Required Skills Required Experience

    EXPERIENCIA:

    6 meses o más en puesto similar.

     

    CONOCIMIENTOS:

    Básico de Computación, Manejo de Patín Hidráulico, Manejo de montacargas (solo donde aplique), Uso de Flejadora Manual, Uso del sistema de lectura de código de barras, Conteo de piezas, Clasificación de materiales, Organización de datos y materiales, Manejo básico del sistema MAPS

     

    ESCOLARIDAD MINIMA:

    Educación Secundaria

    GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:   The Assistant Crew Leader (ACL) emphasizes Leadership, Conservation, and Corpsmember Development.

    LEADERSHIP – ACL crew members must have experience or a strong desire to mentor a diverse group of young individuals.  Members provide leadership in SCC’s service programs as Assistant Crew Leaders and they will lead, mentor, manage, and participate in the day-to-day details of crew life at work.  Leadership duties with SCC require that all crew leaders must have a clean driving record (insurable) and a current driver’s license.  IF YOU HAVE ANY MAJOR DRIVING INFRACTIONS WITHIN THE PAST 5 YEARS (I.E. DUI, DWI, ACCIDENTS, RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT, ETC.), PLEASE CHECK WITH SCC TO CONFIRM WHETHER OR NOT YOU ARE INSURABLE.  FINAL ACCEPTANCE DECISIONS ARE CONTINGENT UPON YOUR DRIVING RECORD.  INDIVIDUALS THAT CANNOT BE INSURED UNDER SCC’S INSURANCE POLICY MAY NOT BE SELECTED FOR THE POSITION

    CONSERVATION – Previous experience with a conservation corps is preferred but not required.

    CORPSMEMBER DEVELOPMENT – Previous experience as an outdoor educator and/or mentor is preferred but not required.  Must have a strong desire to teach and mentor crew members skills needed through out their term.

    IN ADDITION ACL  PARTICIPANTS MUST UNDERSTAND THE NEED FOR:

    COMMITMENT – AmeriCorps members must make a strong commitment to complete all aspects of the program including conservation projects, education, training and national service.  Members must commit to participating in all crew activities, including service days in local communities.

    SAFETY -You will be expected to take a serious attitude toward safety all day and every day.

    PROFESSIONALISM – ACL participants must be willing to follow all SCC policies, maintain professional boundaries, and appropriately represent Southwest Conservation Corps and AmeriCorps. Participants are also required to be TOLERANT OF DIVERSITY; respecting the differences of others.

    TEAMWORK – ACL members must be willing to demonstrate teamwork and respect for others and a commitment to group decisions.

    TECHNOLOGY – The use of technology, including cell phones, iPods, MP3 players, and other battery powered devices is not allowed during all work, chore, group and meal times as well as during de-rigs and rig-up. ACL members must agree to not use these types of technology while participating in these activities and must agree to help regulate this important SCC policy when in a leadership position.

    SUBSTANCE FREE – ACL participants MUST be willing and able to refrain from tobacco products, alcohol, and/or drugs while participating in the SCC program.

    FITNESS – Projects involve hiking, heavy lifting and repetitive motions.  SCC projects are physically demanding!!!  Projects can sometimes take place at elevations well above 8,500 feet. Participants should be ready to confront these conditions while being able to help and encourage crew members.

    CITIZENSHIP – Corpsmember must be a United States Citizen or Permanent Resident

    AMERICORPS EDUCATION AWARD

    Crew Leader's are not eligible for the Americorps Ed. award. 

    CULTURAL RE-CONNECTION AND EDUCATION: AC CLDP crew members and leaders are to be open minded on  cultural re-connection and education opportunities.  AC  crew members and leaders are encouraged to participate in cultural and education crew activities.
