    The Role:

    The Senior Project Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring successful delivery of projects from award through installation with a focus on exceptional customer service. This role is responsible for executing projects within scope, schedule, and budget throughout the project life cycle.

    Responsibilities:

    • Partner with engineering and sales teams to understand project requirements and constraints to complete project plan and conduct internal and external kick-off meetings.
    • Responsible for creating and managing project schedule, budget, communication plan, and risk register. Responsible for planning and execution of risk management plans.
    • Align project plan with cross-functional groups, including engineering, quality, and manufacturing. Work with cross-functional groups to develop mitigation plans and corrective actions when necessary.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and third-party inspectors. Build customer relationships, while balancing business priorities. Resolve customer complaints and issues.
    • Prepare internal and external project reports and conduct project status meetings.
    • Manage project scope and changes. Prepare, submit, and manage internal and external change orders.
    • Conducts lessons learned to develop and implement corrective actions.
    • Coach and mentor junior team members.

    Required Skills

    Required Experience

    • Minimum of 6 years experience managing complex development or manufacturing projects.
    • BS degree is preferred.
    • Experience interpreting customer specifications, contract terms, and proposals.
    • JDE systems and Microsoft Project experience preferred.
