Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee owned company supporting multiple technology development efforts is searching for a talented Electrical Engineer to join our Cyber Solutions Group. We are looking for a self-starter with excellent technical skills to research and develop tools and techniques to support high voltage, pulsed power and HPM operations. This is an exciting opportunity to work in laboratory settings engaging in research and development in the area of HPM system analysis. The work will include interacting with scientists, engineers and technicians to perform failure analysis, conduct day-to-day testing, analyze test results, and write and present test summary reports and scientific reports. Additionally, experience building and establishing a laboratory presence in the fields of RF engineering, DE (Directed Energy), and HPM.

Flexibility is a must, as our tasks include a wide variety of topics in support of our mission: hardware security, rad-hard systems, and functional and physical verification. Background and experience with testing and construction of electronic components and systems is critical to this position as well as a fundamental understanding of electrical failure analysis. Prior experience with process and procedure including completing designs on schedule and budget. Prior experience successfully executing quick turn developments for commercial & defense industries is preferred. Working knowledge of DE specific engineering disciplines such as high voltage engineering, pulsed power, prime power, high power RF. Experience with systems engineering, systems integration, simulation, reliability and testing.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum GPA of 3.2 (Please list GPA on your resume to be considered)
• US citizenship with ability to get a Secret Level Clearance (or above)

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s Degree or Higher in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or other field
• Expertise using DE modeling and simulation software
• Working knowledge of DE specific engineering disciplines such as high voltage engineering, pulsed power, prime power, high power RF.
• Experience interviewing, hiring, and training new engineering staff
• Working knowledge of DE related engineering disciplines; Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, RF Systems, EMI/EMC, Mechanical Engineering, Software, Control Systems, System Safety, Reliability, etc.
• Experience with In-Circuit-Debuggers/Emulators, Logic Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Standard Hardware Failure Analysis Equipment
• Experience as a technical lead for teams of three to five engineers
• US citizenship with an active Secret Clearance
