    RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Check all design files for accuracy and efficiency to enable effective print production.
    • Upload all print files to factories in a timely manner.
    • Review digital proofs from Asia to ensure files are complete and ready for production.
    • Manage spreadsheets to track process and maintain deadlines.
    • Communicate daily with our international teams to trouble-shoot any issues that may arise.
    • Review pre-production samples for quality construction and accurate color.
    • Work with our international team to coordinate and manage color across all substrates including paper, wood, fabric and ceramic.
    • Create and maintain digital files of all products for our sales team and website.
    • Oversee the creation of design templates for all products.
    • Oversee production artist, color correction expert and proofreader. Set and track workloads for each and manage their time.
    • Work closely with brand teams, new product development, creative team and operations.
    • Download all new images from our artists, create contact sheets and review before handing off to color-correction expert.
    • Maintain FTP site as needed to keep current files accessible and purge unneeded files.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

     

    • Associate's Degree or higher in Graphic Design or related field, or a portfolio that demonstrates equivalent training or experience.
    • 5+ years of experience in print production utilizing various printing technologies, pre-press and color correction, as well as, press check experience.
    • Excellent eye for color and color management.
    • Proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop on a Mac platform in the CMYK color space, plus working knowledge of Acrobat and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Proven ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously at a high level of professionalism in a dynamic, fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
    • Ability to collaborate, establish priorities and solve problems using exceptional communication skills.
    • Experience with licensed product is a plus.

    Must be able to perform the following functions in variable weather and environmental conditions:

     

    Bend, stoop, and crawl to work in tight, restricted spaces including fuel cells an aircraft belly areas.

     

    Push, pull, lift, and parts and components weighing up to 60 pounds in the process of assembling, disassembling, repairing, or installation of these parts and components from a sitting, standing, bending, squatting, or overhead position.

     

    Lift and carry tools and equipment weighing up to 100 pounds.

     

    Drive vehicles weighing up to ten (10) tons (up to forty (40) tons in select assignments) in congested areas requiring good depth perception and ability to distinguish colors red, green, and yellow.

     

    Work with color-coded wiring and other components which requires the ability to differentiate colors to include but not limited to red, green, yellow, blue, black, brown, white, and orange.

     

    Operate a variety of tools, including power tools, in the process of assembling, disassembling, repairing, and installing parts and components while reaching, twisting, turning, and gripping.

     

    Work in a high noise-level environment.

     

    Read and interpret printed or computerized maintenance manuals, write legibly to complete forms/paperwork as required.

     

    Must be able to regulate own work with little supervision and accomplish tasks on own.

    Reports to work on a regular and timely basis.
