    Job Description

    Acumatica is seeking a Sales Development Representative for generating new sales opportunities for the company through prospecting research and outreach efforts, including but not limited to, phone, email, and social channels. They will execute sales sequences in HubSpot that will open the door to new potential customers, including reengaging with past opportunities and net new accounts. After qualifying a new opportunity, the SDR will introduce and pass off the opportunity to the Sales Development Management team, and in doing so, advance the sales process.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Build out lists of qualified accounts and prospects that fit Acumatica’s ICP
    • Execute strategic sales sequences in HubSpot and schedule meetings with new sales opportunities.
    • Track and report on your activity and pipeline in CRM.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • At least 2 years of professional sales experience, in a Business to Business corporate environment, to be able to talk confidently about when and how you have worked with businesses that have over 5000 employees
    • Experience in the SaaS industry
    • Expert-level listening skills, the ability to tell a captivating story, and proven interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
    • Able to think on your feet, change direction quickly, and not take rejections personally
    • Confidence and comfort in communicating with Managers, Directors, VPs, and C-level Executives. Broadly speaking, you should have an aptitude for building relationships while overcoming objections
    • Self-disciplined with the ability to prioritize, manage time effectively, thrive in a remote environment, and know when to ask for help
    • Detail-oriented and able to conduct thorough research on potential customers, industry trends, and competitive landscapes using sources such as annual reports, news articles, industry publications, and social media platforms
    • Can receive and immediately implement feedback, with a genuine desire to be better than you were the day before
    • Fluent verbal and written English language skills

Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, and certifications. The listed pay range reflects the available annual salary budgeted for a new hire into this role. Employee salaries may extend above or below the listed range. Depending on level and location of hire, the role may be determined to be Exempt or Salaried Non-Exempt.
