We are looking for a Sales and Social Media Marketing Intern to support the execution of marketing (social media) campaigns and projects for Arrfscarf. The role is largely focused social media campaigns to drive demand generation, client expansion, and brand strategies.

Responsibilities include:

• Social Media: Lead community management on social platforms, (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat) and lead overall strategy, campaign execution and measurement.
• Brand: Uphold the Arrfscarf brand, ensuring all marketing materials adhere to brand guidelines, are creatively engaging and relevant.
• Metrics: Develop and maintain tools for reporting on corporate marketing strategies and report on social programs and website analytics.
• Content Marketing: Assist in executing the Arrfscarf blog content process.
• Support the strategy and execution of email marketing focused on driving sales with pet-food distributors and boutique pet stores.
• Newsletters: Lead monthly newsletter creation on MailChimp.
• Email: Create repeatable and effective email templates for both pet owners and pet-focused businesses. This includes measuring the effectiveness of email efforts.
• Customer service: help answer client questions generated from current clients or prospective clients visiting the Arrfscarf website.

• College senior or recent graduate with a focus on marketing or communications.
• Online advertising industry knowledge and a passion for the online advertising space is strongly desired.
• Effective time management skills – an organized individual who can prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Diligent work ethic. Must be self-motivated and able to take the initiative to get the job done.
• Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills with great attention to detail.
• Impeccable written skills, ideally experience of writing within the technology landscape or a similarly complex subject area, ability to convert our pet nutrition jargon clear, concise and compelling stories.
• Experience with social media management platforms (e.g. Sprout Social, Hootsuite, etc.) and Google Analytics preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills are required particularly in PowerPoint and Excel or the Google Docs suite.
• A creative thinker who brings fresh ideas, new perspectives and a wealth of enthusiasm.
• Comfortable in a fun, demanding, fast-paced changing working and entrepreneurial environment
