    Job Overview

    Position duties include, but are not limited to:

    • Windows Server 2019 systems management in a virtual environment for an enterprise-level enclave
    • Developing and implementing script/executable automation solutions in SQL, C++, PowerShell, and Python
    • Developing and implementing queries, reports, and automated tasks analyzing structured and/or unstructured data
    • Documenting, integrating, and enhancing processes and procedures within multidisciplinary team
    • Planning and scheduling installation of hardware, operating systems (Windows Server, Linux, etc...) and application software
    • Managing accounts, permissions, rights, and access to systems and equipment
    • Managing system resources for performance, capacity, confidentiality, availability, integrity, supportability, and disaster recovery
    • Implementing security procedures and tools
    • Resolving hardware or software interface and interoperability problems
    • Developing and maintaining system configuration
    • Installing and integrating system fixes, updates, and enhancements
    • Developing and maintaining job aides and continuity knowledge bases
    • Mentoring junior employees in system management

    Required Qualifications

    • Possess a bachelor's degree in computer science or bachelor's degree with 30 semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science. At least 15 of the 30 semester hours must have included any combination of statistics and mathematics that included differential and integral calculus. All academic degrees and course work must be from an accredited or pre-accredited institution.
    • United States Citizenship
    • Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance
    • Must have one year of experience at the DR-02 (or equivalent) grade level

    Desired Qualifications

    • At least 15 years of experience
    • Federal IT Security Professional (FITSP)-Operator knowledge
    • CompTIA Security+ knowledge
    • CompTIA Cloud+ knowledge
    • ISC2 Systems Security Certified Professional
    • Master's Degree in IT, or similar field
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to manage workload across competing priorities and work efficiently towards timely task completion
    • Ability to work independently and proactively and with a team

    Experience with the following:

    • Microsoft Azure
    • Google Cloud
    • Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM)
    • Server Virtualization
    • Storage Area Network (NetApp).

    This position requires Intermediate work role in accordance with DoD 8140 and DAFMAN 17-1305.
