INTERNSHIP - Client On-Boarding Société Générale 1,387 reviews - Chicago, IL Internship Environment Client On-Boarding, is a dynamic team of industry professionals who work collaboratively with senior management, sales teams, legal, and risk to facilitate Societe Generales new business pipeline. The team leverages their expertise, experience, technology, and relationships across the firm to manage the end-to-end client on-boarding process. Mission The primary focus of this role will be to assist the New Business On-Boarding team in various account processes. Initial day to day responsibilities include: * Work closely with the front office, providing continuous feedback on status of accounts, and work with prospective and existing clients providing them an update * Coordinate the customer account on-boarding processes ensuring efficient workflow and rigorous follow-up with various departments including KYC, Credit/Risk, Legal, E-Solutions, Client Services and REF Data in North America and globally * Learn a variety of systems, hone expertise, and learn the ob process * Locate specific client unique identifiers and relay the status to the team as well as the front office teams. * Track the status of the client cases created in the back office workflow tool * Follow up with the front office on the status of specific client cases * Analyze data from various systems to produce Key Performance Indicators for the team on a weekly and monthly basis.
