This position serves as the first point of contact for all recruitment and salary administration activities and ensures compliance and consistent application of human resources policy and procedures. Job responsibilities include the following: Oversees recruitment and salary administration programs Provide support for time administration, benefits, leave of absence administration, and worker's compensation programs. Serve as a technical expert for SAP/Beacon OM and PA actions by providing guidance, assistance and troubleshooting of all actions, such as new hires, appointment changes, separations, etc. Respond daily to questions from managers and employees regarding recruitment, salary administration, benefits, leave, pay, timekeeping, and policy inquiries. Provide interpretation, explanation and application of Federal, State, and Departmental Human Resources policies and procedures that govern salary administration, benefits, FMLA, recruitment, merit-based hiring practices, NEOGOV, and SAP/Beacon (HRIS) Salary Grade: GN08; Recruitment Range $33,960 - $45,000 Position: 60043547 Position typically works Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm About the Walter B. Jones Center: The Walter B. Jones Center operates two adult inpatient treatment programs on site in Greenville, NC: (1) Woodside Treatment Center and (2) Lakeside Psychiatric Hospital. The primary purpose and mission of the Walter B. Jones Center is "To provide inpatient treatment, psychiatric stabilization and medical detoxification for individuals with mental health, substance use and other co-occurring psychiatric diagnoses for ongoing community based treatment and recovery". The Center is accredited by the Joint Commission and SAMHSA/CSAT. Two specialty programs are offered to all 100 NC Counties: (1) Inpatient Opioid Treatment for adults and (2) Inpatient Perinatal Services for women in their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimesters with substance use disorders. About the DHHS Human Resources Division: The Division of Human Resources is responsible for strategic and tactical human capital management within DHHS including compliance with all federal and state rules and regulations affecting employee relations, recruitment/ selection, job evaluation, salary administration, benefits, workers' compensation, safety, and core staff development.
