This position will perform routine analyses for pesticides, herbicides and other organic contaminants in water samples following EPA 500 level methods. In addition, the Chemist I will be expected to serve as back-up to the other chemists and chemistry technicians in this laboratory. Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree in chemistry from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of progressive chemistry laboratory experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience.
