    SUMMARY: 

    Performs cardiac diagnostic testing

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

     Includes the following but other duties may be assigned:

    • Prioritize and evaluate patient orders
    • Prepares patient and explains procedures to patient; answers questions carefully and completely
    • Preps patient for cardiac testing which includes preparing chest for ECG lead placement, placement of blood pressure cuff and occasionally IV placement
    • Monitors the ECG and blood monitor during cardiac procedure
    • Correctly records and documents the ECG and blood pressure reading
    • Demonstrates proper use and care of equipment
    • Maintains adequate stock of necessary supplies in procedure rooms
    • Performs other duties as assigned by manager

     

    REQUIRED:      

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

    • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
    • High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
    •  BLS/CPR certification

    WHAT'S NEEDED FROM YOU:

    • Ability to work a schedule which will include working on rotating Saturdays.
    • Thorough knowledge of PC, internet, spreadsheets, Word, and office equipment operation.
    • Basic knowledge of financial services, credit union industry and regulations, terminology, and procedures.
    • Basic processing knowledge of checks, ACH, bill pay and MDC.
    • Ability to work successfully in a high volume, technically demanding job.
    • Ability to work independently, is self-motivated and resourceful.
    • Ability to accurately calculate interest and dividends, and make mathematical computations.
