Position Summary and Responsibilities Technician for satellite communications industry Responsibilities may include alignment, testing, troubleshooting and repair of solid state microwave amplifiers and block upconverters. May require diagnostics skills related to power supply designs and working knowledge of serial/Ethernet monitor and control (M&C) interface to aid in customer service. Potential to also assist in customer servicing of product via hands on repair, phone/e-mail correspondence, and field support. Qualifications Two year associates degree in electronics or equivalent military/work experience. Prefer experience in microwave, RF, fiber or communications. Requires strong basic electronics knowledge to logically and systematically troubleshoot circuits. Requires visual acuity to perform hand soldering of small components. Solid computer skills.
