Qualifications JOB SUMMARY/OVERVIEW The Workers Compensation Pricing Analyst is responsible for reviewing and pricing new prospects for workers compensation risk and pricing adequacy. Works closely with Workers Compensation Carrier for acceptability of the prospect per carrier guidelines. ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES * Identify the risks and workers compensation classification codes associated with each piece of new business. * Perform detailed loss analysis and determine appropriate workers compensation pricing. * Request and review risk control surveys. * Consult with TriNet Sales colleagues on progress of WC Pricing process. * Log activities appropriately using Salesforce.com (SFDC). * Verify that all required WC Pricing documentation matches data entered in quoting tool (CPQ) for pricing and forecasting purposes. * Monitor the progress of submissions through the WC Pricing process. * Present workers compensation business for approval by the workers compensation insurance carrier that falls under submission guidelines. * Review and approve pricing outside of pricing software parameters. * Provide consultative advice to management on WC Pricing guidelines and best practice pricing standards. * Provide guidance on departmental improvements including formalization of WC Pricing department manuals, training materials and improvements to pricing and tracking models. * Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the Managers discretion. JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelors degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Training Requirements (licenses, programs, or certificates): Any Insurance Institute programs including ARM and CPCU designations Experience: * Minimum 3 years of experience underwriting workers compensation * Exposure to the PEO business model * 3 years of experience utilizing SFDC or similar Sales CRM Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Ability to communicate with employees at all levels of the organization
