POSITION OVERVIEW We’re looking for an experienced BUSINESS ANALYST/QA TESTER to support the Field Service team. This role works with field service, operations, and IT teams to solicit, analyze, understand, and document business and technical requirements pertaining to routing and scheduling, service delivery, and navigation applications. They serve as an expert in their systems to help the business manage efficient implementation of technology solutions. They turn business requirements into technical requirements via writing and refining user stories. This role will write the test scripts to validate/test the user stories and perform the actual IT QA testing. They contribute to technical project management activities, participate across agile ceremonies, perform day-to-day problem analysis and resolution, and offer general analytical support across the organization

The BA will also be responsible for assisting with the functional configuration of the systems they support, UAT, and user training.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

· Responsible for analyzing, defining feature requirements, creating new processes that meet the business needs, conducting IT QA testing, managing release communication and support UAT activities with the Business groups

· Functional experience with managing and making updates to mobile applications and routing software

· Experience with process improvement and documentation

· Proactive with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy is essential

· Quick learner who can adapt to changing priorities

· Team player, with a very strong work ethic and high energy level

· Must demonstrate initiative and ownership of assigned responsibilities to deliver on time at a high level of quality

· Collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to design customized analytics reports for daily financial and operational r reporting

· Point person for the business units and field service leadership in quickly resolving technical issues with application deployment, escalating to IT tech team partners when needs become complex

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

· 1 – 2 years of Information Technology experience

· 1 – 2 years of experience supporting field service business operations, routing enhancements, mobile app development on Android platform

· 1-2 years of experience with data analytics

· Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Engineering, other analytical disciplines or commensurate experience

· 3 years of experience as a business analyst, advanced business analyst, developer, QA tester or similar role

· 1-2 years SQL experience

· Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical counterparts and vice versa

· Strong relationship building skills, including written and verbal communication

· A strong understanding of field service operations

· A strong understanding of the requirements and mechanics of routing algorithms

· Functional experience with capturing Business Requirements and documentation for mobile applications

• Organizational skills to coordinate multiple tasks and projects
• Computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Strong time management skills
• Self-motivation to resolve issues
