    AFRL Det 3/CSS seeks to hire a highly motivated professional to fill the DO-01 Unit Deployment Manager position in Albuquerque, NM.

    Position duties include, but are not limited to:

    • Manages and coordinates all unit-level deployment activities from planning to execution, including geographically separated units that fall under the supervision of the PRS Commander.
    • Updates, maintains, & reports unit deployment readiness.
    • Coordinates all readiness training & monitors unit member's deployment eligibility.
    • Advises unit commander & staff on deployment process & maintains the status of unit personnel and equipment.
    • Manages Unit Deployment Center.
    • Reviews all deployment-related requirements.
    • Advises on Operations Plans, Wing Plans and Logistics Plans as required.
    • Analyzes the readiness capability of the unit through evaluation of training, equipment status, & manning to ensure the unit maintains a state of readiness & meets the cargo and personnel preparation requirements in accordance with AFI's.
    • Plans & schedules personnel deployment processing to ensure a smooth and orderly flow of deployment personnel.
    • Builds, maintains, & audits Personnel Readiness Folders (PRF) & ensures unit personnel always maintain/update the PRF.
    • Works with classified information pertaining to service members movements and responsibilities overseas; constant tracking & planning with overseas partners to ensure success of deployment.
    • Establishes metrics & analysis systems for unit & higher-level management to access the efficiency, effectiveness, & compliance with regulatory procedures.
    • Provides technical expertise regarding unit deployment activities and provides advice & guidance to personnel and senior leadership.
    • Directs commander on disposition of records, policy updates & relevant procedures.
    • Financial forecasting for deployment programs, working with FM and ALO to develop financial strategies/commitments.
    • Works to schedule military formal training in accordance with SECDAF requirements.
    • Oversees completion of required individual training to fulfill requirements for deployments, upgrade training and overall mission readiness i.e. pulling reports, correcting discrepancies, and logging training in MyLearning.
    • Coordinates with base formal training manager to workflow of training RIPS.

    Required Qualifications

    • United States Citizenship
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
    • Proven leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Knowledge of military logistics and deployment procedures is preferred.
