    Fall 2018 - UNICEF Kid Power Intern Location: NY - New York Employment Type: Internship Description The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) works in 190 countries and territories to put children first. UNICEF has helped save more childrens lives than any other humanitarian organization, by providing health care and immunizations, clean water and sanitation, nutrition, education, emergency relief and more. UNICEF USA supports UNICEF's work through fundraising, advocacy and education in the United States. UNICEF Kid Power Intern UNICEF USA seeks an intern for its UNICEF Ventures division interested in research, program development, and campaign planning. This internship would provide an opportunity to learn about: UNICEF's work around campaigns and UNICEF Ventures How UNICEF USA engages new and exisitng supports around UNICEF's mission Campaign management and campaign social media marketing Key Responsibilities/Projects: Participate in research and contribute new ideas in engaging new and existing supporters around UNICEF Kid Power and UNICEF USA's mission Brainstorm and execute ideas around campaigns and programs Take part in project management and collaborate on new UNICEF Kid Power initiatives and ideas Perform other projects as they arise Qualifications: Must be a current student enrolled in a College or University degree program Must have strong written and oral communication skills Must have excellent interpersonal skills and great attention to detail Able to work both independently and collaboratively Fluency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is preferred Must be a highly motivated team player who enthusiastically embraces the mission of UNICEF and UNICEF USA Must demonstrate UNICEF USA Core Values: Trust, Respect, Accountability, Innovation, Teamwork and Service Time Frame: Fall 2018 Days per Week: Flexible Hours per Week: 10-14 hours This is an unpaid internship.
