    Fall 2018 - UNICEF Kid Power Education Intern Location: NY - New York Employment Type: Internship Description The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) works in 190 countries and territories to put children first. UNICEF Kid Power Education Intern UNICEF USA seeks an intern for its UNICEF Kid Power Education Department who will learn first-hand curriculum writing, research skills that will help build UNICEF Kid Power's presence and impact, possibility of learning basic InDesign skills and professional development for educators. Key Responsibilities/Projects: Research education trends Support program team in the development of content and curriculum (grades 3-8) Edit, proofread and update current curriculum and materials Research standards and brainstorm new ideas for curriculum Assist with other projects as needed Qualifications: Must be a current student enrolled in a College or University degree program Candidates pursuing a graduate degree in Education are highly encouraged to apply Strong communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills are essential Attention to detail and organizational skills Interest in event and/or hospitality management or related field preferred Fluency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel is preferred Must be a highly motivated team player who enthusiastically embraces the mission of UNICEF and UNICEF USA Must demonstrate UNICEF USA Core Values: Trust, Respect, Accountability, Innovation, Teamwork and Service Time Frame: Fall 2018 Days per Week: Flexible Hours per Week: 10-14 hours This is an unpaid internship.
