ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up and operate multi-point or gun welder per blueprint specifications
• Monitor control system on operating parameters, weld pressure, weld schedule, and fault detection
• Keep accurate records of jobs performed
• Inspect produced parts for quality and quantity
• Transport stock to and from work area
• Perform preventative maintenance as needed
• Requisition weld tips and other supplies
• Participates in standard job rotations. Perform job rotation with team members to insure proper standardized work and ergonomic safety
• Perform all job duties according to safety policies and procedures
• Performs all 5S housekeeping tasks in appropriate areas
• Participates as a member of the Fabrication Team
• Performs other duties as necessary in support of business objectives

Required Experience

TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE:  Must be able to work in a team environment; Must have knowledge of how to use measuring instruments.  Must be able to read blueprints and use measuring instruments. 

INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE: Must have a minimum of one year Welder Operator experience.  May be required to receive additional education & attend seminars for related training.  Experience in a manufacturing environment required.  Working knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, principles, and tools preferred.
