The Quality Assurance Tester will perform manual testing tasks as assigned by QA leads (functional testing, browser testing, and content verification), on projects for the New England Journal of Medicine, Knowledge Plus, Journal Watch, and other online products. Throughout a series of predefined releases; contribute to test case development and execution, and identify and log defects into the issue-tracking system. Assist in developing a QA Knowledge base by documenting product knowledge, and developing detailed prerequisites and back-end data conditions used to perform data integrity validation.

Required Experience
Understanding of technology, particularly web technologies.
Manual QA testing experience preferred, but not required.
Ability to read functional specs and develop test strategies from those specs.
Understands how to create screenshots on Windows and Mac
Knowledge of cross-browser differences; at least some experience using IE, Firefox and Chrome. Experience with Safari is helpful, but not necessary.
Knowledge of iOs and Android mobile device operating systems
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to think analytically and a desire to learn.
Self-sufficientnt and pride of ownership.
Good written and verbal communication skills, and ability to work well in a highly collaborative team environment
WORK SCHEDULE
The work hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30 – 4:30, however, the student can arrange a flexible schedule.
