IT Intern - SAP COE Weyerhaeuser Company is currently seeking an IT Intern to join the SAP CoE team. The SAP CoE team safely supports and delivers SAP and information technology solutions to Wood Products, Finance and all Enterprise SAP customers in order to: > - Improve efficiency of business processes and drive costs out > > - Improve decision making and strategy development to capture margin and competitive > > advantage This is a six-month internship starting in Jan 2019 in Seattle, WA. How we do it SAP COE consists of two teams that possess a broad span of functional, analytical and technical skills, and an ability to work against fixed deadlines and fluid business requirements: * Business Support Team provides application and process support and project delivery for the SAP application and applications that are integrated with SAP. SAP is used to support Enterprise-wide Finance; our Wood Products supply chain processes with placement of customer orders, production planning, goods movement and transportation of product, invoicing, plant maintenance, procurement, and inventory management. The team provides various levels of customer support from service desk through complex solution design, configuration, and support. * Operations Team provides SAP development (ABAP, UI5, oData, .Net, SQL) and technical support and delivery for our enterprise environment. Technologies & Applications used * SAP Products - ECC 6.0 ((FI - AP/AR/GL/CO/CS), MM, PM, TM, SD, PP, LE); Portal, BW, Fiori, Solution Manager, S/4HANA * SAP Global Risk & Compliance (user admin, authorizations, security, etc.) * UI5, SAP ABAP, ASP.NET, VB.NET, JavaScript, HTML5, PowerBI * SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Services, Transact-SQL, SQLPlus, Oracle Key Functions: We are looking for a motivated team player to fulfill a key role in: * Identify SAP Functionality or SAP development object requirements to meet the given business requirement * Define or update business process models and process flows to reflect end to end business processes. * Assist Business Analysts and Line of businesses with understanding functionality and data associated with development objects and the proposed SAP solution. * Perform configuration activities and unit testing of work package build for SAP objects and processes. * Assist in support or development of other tools as needed.
