  • Responsibilities

    Aerial Intelligence, Reconnaissance & Surveillance (A-ISR) systems Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing technical assistance and daily operational support for the integration, development, testing, operation, and modernization of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and associated ground support equipment assigned to the US Army Intelligence and Security Command.  Provide operational and management oversight of mission readiness and procedural recommendations concerning the employment, fielding and integration of new Aerial-ISR processes.  Provide staff support to the government on all phases of force management and regulatory guidance of these systems.  Collaborate with senior level intelligence analysts and SMEs in a joint and multi-forces environment. Candidate must be knowledgeable in many aspects of Processing Exploitation and Dissemination (PED) operations, and able to work with program executive offices for rapid acquisition and integration of capabilities and new processes.

     

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Aerial exploitation battalion and higher level operational experience with various manned and unmanned intelligence collection systems to include the PED cycle  
    • Knowledge of mission planning and logistics support for Aerial ISR systems
    • Conduct and support training requirements of the aircraft, the ground equipment, and the required support to sustain training operations
    • Have knowledge of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations, policies and procedures

    Required Skills

    • Active TS/SCI security Clearance
    • Able to communicate orally with senior military staff leaders
    • Experience creating senior level briefings, information papers and executive summaries
    • Technical SME on the employment of the medium altitude UAS

    Required Experience

    • Associate’s Degree and 8 years of experience with the operational employment of DoD Aerial ISR systems and 2 years of experience on a major command headquarters or DoD staff, or a minimum of 15 years related military experience
  • Qualifications
