    Radiance Technologies, a rapidly growing employee owned company, is searching for a talented individual with a strong background in microelectronics security and technology development to join our Cyber Solutions Group. The Department of Defense (DoD) faces enormous challenges in protecting microelectronic technologies used in weapon systems. Today’s threat space spans the entire weapon system lifecycle from development through operational deployment. The DoD requires innovative, reliable and cost-effective solutions to protect critical technology deployed in weapon systems.

     

    Candidates should have a demonstrated background in establishing, directing and transitioning complex Anti-Tamper (AT) technology solutions. In particular, candidates should have an expert knowledge of the reverse engineering threats facing modern microelectronic devices and techniques to deter, delay or prevent them. Candidate will be required to develop advanced system security architectures for complex technology development efforts, and direct a multi-discipline team to implement, test and transition the solutions. Candidate should have experience establishing, defending and maintaining funding lines for RDTE projects within the DoD.

     

    Candidate must have previous experience designing, developing, integrating and testing weapon system Anti-Tamper solutions, and must be well versed in Systems Engineering and the DoD acquisition process. Experience developing and transitioning technology from TRL2 through TRL6+ is highly desirable.

     

    Candidate must be innovative with strong communication and leadership skills. Must work well in a fast-paced, multi-discipline environment. Candidates will work with collaborative teams comprised of government, contractor, and industry personnel. There may be some travel associated with this position.  

     

    This position will require directing large technology development efforts and interfacing with government customers at the O-6 and Flag Officer level.

     

    DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

    • Advanced Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Physics.

    • Anti-Tamper technology development experience

    • Experience as Lead Engineer for Advanced AT technology development effort.

    • Technology targeted at wide range of systems (i.e. not a system specific solution).

    • Demonstrated transition of technology solution to Program of Record.

    • Strong familiarity with ASIC design flows and semiconductor fabrication.

    • Experience designing and implementing complex cryptographic architectures.

    • Experience developing Anti-Tamper Plans, Anti-Tamper V&V Plans and Key Management Plans.

    • Strong working knowledge of all applicable Anti-Tamper policies.

    • Experience with Foreign Military Sales and Direct Commercial Sales.

    • DAU SPRDE III Certification.

    • MATLAB

    Required Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree in relevant STEM field.
    • Active Top Secret clearance

    Required Experience

    • Experience designing, developing or testing AT solutions (minimum of 10 years)

    • Hands-on design experience with strong technical contribution

    • Experience interfacing with government evaluation teams across multiple services

    • AT Technology Development experience (minimum of 5 years)

    • Advanced AT Technology

    • Technology targeted at wide range of systems (i.e. not a system specific solution)
