Together, we connect active, engaged New Yorkers to build stronger communities.The Prospect Park YMCA - Park Slope Armory is seeking a qualified individual who will assist the Membership Sales & Engagement Director with the Hospitality Agents and ensure quality control in all areas within the Membership Department, including point of sale transactions, staffing and member hospitality, administrative processes, and systems and audit preparation. The incumbent will work with the Membership Sales & Engagement Director to provide administrative direction / leadership to achieve budgeted goals.Responsibilities: Handle the financial assistance processing for the Branch according to the Association's financial assistance policy. Conduct the daily audit of transactions, including registrations, cancellations and holds. Assist with reviewing and approving timecards in the eTime system. Run and review various reports and take actions, as required. Handle calls and emails from members, addressing inquiries and concerns, in a timely manner. Download Silver Sneakers utilization report and post to Healthways web portal. Reconcile payments. Assist the Membership Sales & Engagement Director with hiring, training and developing staff. Assist the Membership Sales & Engagement Director with ensuring proper staff coverage at membership desk, including guest services. Handle purchasing requisitions. Monitor/order supplies, forms, membership cards, staff uniforms, etc. Be highly proficient in and role model all aspects of the Hospitality Agent position. Actively participate in all training sessions, designated meetings and special events.Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Minimum of three years of experience working in a fast paced administrative setting. Ability to work in a fast paced environment with competing priorities. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel; computer literacy required. Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Excellent hospitality skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
