After School Program Site Coordinator Stonestown YMCA - San Francisco, CA $18.50 - $24.00 an hour Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Site Coordinator is responsible for daily onsite supervision, program implementation and youth/staff development. This position is responsible for helping to maintain a safe and welcoming after school site; ensuring high level of program quality that will expose youth to various learning opportunities and working to establish a positive relationship with all program participants and their families. The primary responsibility for this role is to create an academic and enrichment-based program that is compliant with California State Licensing and the Youth Development Principles of the YMCA of San Francisco. We are currently hiring Site Coordinators at the following California State Licensed After School Sites: * Commodore Sloat Elementary School (50 Darien Way) * Dianne Feinstein Elementary School (2550 25th Avenue) Minimum Qualifications include but not limited to: * Minimum of 21 years of age * Must have a bachelors degree in Child Development, Education, Social Services or related field * Must have 24+ units in Early Childhood Education or related courses or trainings, 6 Admin units and 2 Adult Units or Site Supervisor permit qualified * Must have at least two years of experience working with youth programs in supervisory role * Demonstrate knowledge, familiarity, and experience working in or with schools within SFUSD * Cantonese, Mandarin, or Spanish preferred * Current EMSA Approved First Aid and CPR certification * Must provide school transcripts documenting necessary qualifications * Must pass health screening, CCL Immunizations, and finger print clearance * Must be available Monday-Friday 40 hours/week (some weekends) All employees working with the YMCA are considered to have supervisory or disciplinary action relationship over minors.
