    This is a 7x24 operation supporting the global material demands for aircraft maintenance.

    JOB SUMMARY: 

     The Aircraft on Ground (AOG) Material Assistant's primary function is to provide support to the AOG Buyers. This is accomplished by maintaining files and documentation within the Critical Purchasing area as well as administering the drop-ship purchase orders.      

                                     JOB DESCRIPTION:

    Reconcile purchase order discrepancies, analyze purchase order reports and mismatched vouchers, file critical procurement requisitions, research and update invoices sent from accounting, resolve quarantined parts issues, process parts to return to vendors and ensure credit is received, assist loan/borrow coordinators with loan calls and processing loans.

    REQUIRED SKILLS:  

    • Strong intellect, aptitude, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple activities, people skills and effective written and verbal communication skills. Previous knowledge of aircraft materials and/or maintenance, engineering or support functions.

    ADDITIONAL SKILLS:  

    • Previous airline, MIPS, and inventory control experience are preferred attributes.

    INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:  

    • Must be able to work within a team and be accountable for quality results. This environment requires close communication and interaction at various levels within the organization.
