    The UPS i-parcel facility is a SCS Certified Cargo Screening Facility. We receive, process and export e-commerce packages around the world for various e-commerce merchants. The on-line shopping market is growing every year and UPS i-parcel will continue to lead this section of the industry for years to come.

    The Alternate Facility Security Coordinator/Certified Cargo Screening Specialist will help oversee the cargo screening program in this facility while playing a very important role in the security of the United States and ensuring the security of cargo being transported on passenger carrying airlines. You will also work with cargo screeners to view images of cargo using x-ray screening machines and alert the facility to any possible problems, and inspect cargo for any potential hazards.


    • Oversees cargo screening area to ensure site remains secure with authorized personnel only
    • Ensures cargo screeners remains focused and review each image carefully
    • Alerts authorized personnel if any problems arise
    • Helps train and teach authorized personnel
    • Supports day-to-day screening administrative duties
    • Conducts physical inspections of cargo when visual images are not enough to clear a package for transport

    • Bachelor's Degree (or internationally comparable degree) - Preferred
    • Previously worked in a TSA regulated environment - Preferred
    • Previous or current dangerous goods training - Preferred
    • Previous experience coaching a diverse group of people - Preferred
    • Ability to speak English and Spanish - Preferred
