The UPS i-parcel facility is a SCS Certified Cargo Screening Facility. We receive, process and export e-commerce packages around the world for various e-commerce merchants. The on-line shopping market is growing every year and UPS i-parcel will continue to lead this section of the industry for years to come.
The Alternate Facility Security Coordinator/Certified Cargo Screening Specialist will help oversee the cargo screening program in this facility while playing a very important role in the security of the United States and ensuring the security of cargo being transported on passenger carrying airlines. You will also work with cargo screeners to view images of cargo using x-ray screening machines and alert the facility to any possible problems, and inspect cargo for any potential hazards.

Founded on a $100 loan in 1907, 2 teenage boys opened up a messenger service in a 6 by 17 foot office located just below the sidewalk on Second Avenue and Main Street in Seattle, WA. Messengers ran errands, carried notes, hand baggage, and delivered trays of food for customers. They also delivered packages, traveling by streetcars and bicycles for longer trips, and later using motorcycles.
