UPS is seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Assistant (EA) to support Sr. Vice President/Executive Level Management to ensure their ability to effectively and efficiently perform their organizational responsibilities. The Executive Assistant manages executive schedules to utilize their time most effectively and coordinates travel, accommodation, and events to ensure timely attendance at meetings and events. He/She filters correspondence to ensure executives only receive relevant and critical information requiring their attention, coordinates the timely receipt of information required from other executives and senior managers, and composes and edits executive communications.
The Executive Assistant builds relationships throughout the organization, exercises judgment and discretion, handles complex and difficult situations diplomatically, and represents the executive's office in a professional manner.
The Executive Assistant reviews and filters incoming correspondence to direct communications not requiring the executive's attention to appropriate channels and to ensure the executive receives relevant and critical correspondence in a timely manner. He/She builds and maintains a network of relationships to obtain information and assistance as required and to portray a professional executive's office. The Executive Assistant manages executive contacts (e.g., business contacts, customers, social contacts, etc.) to ensure executives have access to current contact information in the office and when traveling.
