UPS Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) is seeking a dynamic Finance & Accounting Systems Specialist to assist with key projects and gain first-hand experience in enhancing an enterprise-level Finance department with current Business Intelligence technologies. You will be directly responsible for improvements in our established processes, as well as an active collaborator in our ongoing development of new analysis and reporting tools. The SCS Finance & Accounting Systems Specialist will have the opportunity to learn/develop their skills with SQL databases, SSAS tabular models, advanced Excel functionalities and Microsoft Power BI.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Assists with department’s reporting migration to SSAS tabular and Power BI
Updates old reports with current technologies (SQL, PowerPivot, Power BI) to reduce runtime and improve accuracy
Provides ad-hoc SQL support to existing monthly profitability model team
Learns and documents UPS Freight Forwarding business knowledge to facilitate cross training and solidify knowledge base of the team
