UPS is currently seeking a Yard Control Associate.  The ideal candidate for Yard Control Associate will have at least one year experience in a warehouse or the transportation industry and a demonstrated ability to: 

• Understand operations methods and procedures
• Perform basic and accurate data entry and retrieve information
• Follow standard practices and operating guidelines, with little to no supervision  
• Act with good judgment  
• Draw conclusions where variation and interpretation is possible 
• The typical Yard Control Associate may be responsible for: 
• Monitoring the movement of both inbound and outbound vehicles  
• Assuring the proper equipment is used for all destinations  
• Work on specific repetitive tasks and the application of established policies and procedures

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Rapid and accurate data entry skills  
• Experience working warehouse or the transportation industry is preferred
