WORK ENVIRONMENT: General office environment, working alongside other flight non-operating functions. JOB SUMMARY: The position focuses on special projects within Flight Finance, monthly forecasting, as well as financial reporting support. JOB DESCRIPTION: Cost statement analysis: review individual accounts to identify drivers that will forecast expense, review variances and assist with explanations, work with Flight Finance Team to ensure journal entries are completed. Miscellaneous cost accounting – cost initiatives. Quarterly planning support: work with planning groups to develop budget, develop cost planning templates and improve planning process. Adhoc special projects and process improvements. REQUIRED SKILLS: Minimum two years toward a degree in either Finance or Accounting. Excellent written and oral communication skills are expected. Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects is a must. ADDITIONAL SKILLS: Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Access. Ability to identify root cause of a problem and formulate a solution. Ability to map a process out on paper or software. Project management experience a plus.
INTERPERSONAL SKILLS: Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be self-motivated and have the ability to manage multiple tasks quickly and successfully and possess good planning and organizational skills.
